I have some photographs that haven't seemed to fit anywhere else this month,
so I've put them all together. Enjoy!
Dental floss was a great idea. Spencer the eagle scout was able to lasso his tooth with some floss. Ella-marie, Miles and I sat on the floor in front and counted to 3. And this is the part where we realized that Spencer was a squeamish chicken. Poor Corbin...all of that anticipation...then nothing! So Spencer and I traded spots and they counted for me. On 3, I closed my eyes and yanked. Perhaps I should have kept my eyes open. It took a while to find the tooth across the room. Hehehe!
The curtains, made by me, are made out of the same fabric as the chair seats. Spencer was even brave enough to glue the wobbly chairs back together. It's like having a new dining room table set. No fingers are allowed to wipe themselves on the chairs.
Note the new silver chandelier and silver curtain rods...all spraypainted so that we didn't have to buy any new ones. And the lovely stripes were painted by Spencer and I. I love when Spencer has spring break and needs a project to work on.

"CAUGHT!!"
I was a very calm mother thought and thought "Gee, this is kinda funny...I should go get the camera because this would make a fabulous blog post!" Hunter is lucky that I thought that...all I could do was to say "NO, no flour" and try to keep a straight face.

He looks so innocent, doesn't he?
All of the children truely enjoyed watching Levi has his moment of fame. No child has had a bigger cheering section than Levi. Spencer did a great job capturing most of the kids in this next picture. Corbin is there too, just hiding behind my head.
But unfortunately all good things have to end, and the second day of cereal Levi wouldn't open his mouth at all. I guess he had figured out what was happening and thought it's better to nurse than to eat bland rice cereal. Hmmmm, we'll try again tonight.
Today is Ella-marie's birthday! I can't believe that she's three now...where has the time gone? We had her party yesterday evening because Spencer will be gone all day and all evening tonight. Ella-marie was in heaven all day long! And just in case you were wondering, yes, she did manage to get a pink princess cake for her party.
I think that the term "Tickled Pink" would definately apply to Ella-marie. She has been in heaven all day long. I still think it's amazing that I could have tried so hard for so long to make sure that she didn't like pink...and yet what do we have? Why, a girl who wears pink every single day and who's favorite color is pink and who wants a pink cake! Where did I go wrong??
